Pet Poison Control Help
For after hours emergencies if your pet experiences swelling, redness, foaming-of-the-mouth, bite marks or if you observe your pet ingesting something that could be toxic, interacting with or is bitten by a snake, spider, frog, or other toxic specimen then please contact your emergecy clinic or ASPCA Poison Control. For your convenience we accept all major credit cards (signed), debit cards, cash, Care Credit, and first party permanent local checks (with ID, established clients only, and any returned/bounced checks are charged a fee of $29 with lossed privileges for future check payments). We do not do billing plans due to the high cost of managing such plans and so that the cost is NOT passed on to our customers. Payment is due when services are rendered. In some cases, a deposit may be necessary. Clients are encouraged to discuss estimates before services are rendered. Please note that we offer cost savings through our Wellness Plans, so please take advantage of them.

When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expense strikes as well. Parkland Veterinary Hospital understands this and is able to make some special arrangements through the CareCredit program. It takes just 5 minutes to complete an application and will allow you to break down your payment into 3 monthly installments. The staff at Parkland Veterinary Hospital cares deeply for you and your pets. For your pets' safety and the safety of other visitors and their pets, we request that all dogs must be on a short leash (or shortened leash approx. 6 ft) and all cats and smaller animals must be carried in a crate or appropriate carrier when visiting our hospital. We also suggest that you request to be seated in an exam room as soon as one becomes available to minimize the off chance of entanglements or exposure to other (possibly sick) animals.
